Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy contracts, middleware, and frontend applications.

• Construct and sustain ETL pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver large quantities of on-chain and off-chain data.

• Evaluate the cost and complexity of our operations, seeking ways to enhance efficiency without compromising on reliability or security.

• Work in close collaboration with the wider Product team to deliver new tools and applications from start to finish.

• Take ownership of the reliability, maintainability, and performance of packages, systems, and APIs to ensure our tools support the ecosystem and users effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong hands-on expertise in Typescript, Rust, and Cairo.

• Capable of building and managing stable, high-performing backend services (APIs, databases, and data pipelines).

• Comfortable overseeing a service from start to finish, including architecture, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

• Proficient in delivering code reliably: implementing automated testing, deployment pipelines, and ensuring that local successes translate to production.

• Versatile in working across the stack - backend, middleware, and infrastructure - rather than confining oneself to a single area.

• Thrives in ambiguity: adept at determining the best approach to tasks rather than simply following instructions.

• Naturally inclined to question complexity and discover simpler, more effective building methods.

• High agency: capable of identifying issues, devising solutions, and proactively executing plans.

• Passionate about tinkering, building, and collaboratively tackling challenging problems.

• Sincerely curious about Web3 and the evolving infrastructure and applications within the sector.
