Full-stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain full-stack functionalities across our SaaS platform.

• Create and enhance APIs (both client and server side), including handling complex or inadequately documented partner integrations.

• Produce clean, thoroughly tested, and well-documented code (unit and integration testing).

• Collaborate with colleagues on architecture, design evaluations, and code reviews.

• Contribute to shared resources such as onboarding materials, runbooks, and documentation.

• Detect and address performance challenges, particularly related to SQL queries and scaling workloads in AWS.

• Explore AI tools and methodologies — both to expedite development and to enhance our proprietary AI-driven product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Programming Languages: Python (primary), JavaScript/TypeScript (secondary).

• Databases: Experience with Postgres, Redis, and DynamoDB, including query optimization.

• Testing: Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and contemporary testing tools.

• Cloud: Practical experience with AWS (deployment, monitoring).

• Proficient in building and utilizing APIs; capable of reverse engineering poorly documented systems.

• Comfortable in a distributed, text-centric communication environment (Slack, GitHub, Notion, Linear, Google Docs).
