Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications utilizing React and Vue for the frontend, along with Java/Spring Cloud microservices on the backend.

• Construct and consume RESTful APIs, integrating with internal services, third-party platforms, and AI model APIs.

• Assume complete ownership of features—from gathering requirements and technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch maintenance.

• Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Deliver high-quality, polished user interfaces with a strong focus on user experience, accessibility, and visual consistency.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to enhance development cycles and improve code quality.

• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code; engage in code reviews and adhere to engineering best practices.

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases—design schemas, write queries, and optimize for performance.

• Proactively identify and communicate blockers, update stakeholders on progress and risks, and ensure alignment among cross-timezone teams (APAC/MENA).

• Contribute to technical documentation, participate in architecture discussions, and drive continuous improvement in development processes.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies in web development, AI, crypto, and blockchain to introduce relevant innovations to the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in developing production-ready web applications and backend services.

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in frontend frameworks—experience with React and Vue is essential; familiarity with other frontend frameworks is a plus.

• Solid backend expertise with Java and Spring Cloud microservices architecture; understanding of RESTful API design and database fundamentals (SQL/NoSQL).

• Proven ability to deliver projects featuring high-quality user interfaces across various application areas.

• Extensive experience working with remote data via REST, JSON, and AI model APIs.

• Demonstrated use of AI tools and technologies (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) in actual project delivery; experience with AI-augmented development workflows to boost productivity and innovation.

• Strong sense of ownership—takes full responsibility for features from design through deployment and maintenance.

• Pride in craftsmanship—deeply cares about code quality, user experience, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proactive communicator—identifies blockers early, shares context with stakeholders, and collaborates effectively across time zones and distributed teams (APAC/MENA).

• Interest and knowledge in the crypto/blockchain/technology sector is preferred, with a keen enthusiasm for AI technologies.

• Preferred work experience in an exchange (cryptocurrency or traditional), financial institution, eCommerce, or payments processing.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
