Full Stack Developer, Javascript/TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop bespoke API integrations between HubSpot and client technology stacks.

• Create and sustain HubSpot Developer Projects, encompassing UI Extensions, App Cards, and serverless integrations.

• Craft automation actions in JavaScript/TypeScript utilizing HubSpot Operations Hub's custom coded workflows.

• Set up integration workflows, webhooks, and field mappings across various platforms.

• Work closely with clients to gather requirements and present technical solutions.

• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and bug fixes.

• Collaborate on internal product development with our product manager.

• Help establish development standards and DevOps processes as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional development experience, or equivalent proven work.

• Highly skilled in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong experience with Node.js (v20+) and Express or modern alternatives like Fastify or Hono.

• Experience with React is essential for HubSpot UI Extensions and App Cards.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and OAuth authentication flows.

• Proficient in using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude/Claude-Code, Cursor) and capable of critically assessing AI-generated code.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Comfortable making technical decisions with partial information.

• Strong written communication skills (we operate in an async-first environment).

• Good business judgment—you are capable of making trade-offs and prioritization decisions that benefit the client.

• Nice to Have: Experience with HubSpot APIs (CRM, Sequences, Conversations, Commerce) or HubSpot certifications.

• Experience integrating with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms or payment APIs.

• Experience integrating with ERP & CPQ platforms and custom ERP & CPQ systems.

• Understanding of RevOps concepts, including lead management, data pipelines, and reporting.

• Experience delivering features in a SaaS product environment.
