Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and sustain secure web applications encompassing both frontend and backend components.

• Create and uphold responsive, accessible user interfaces while facilitating application workflows.

• Develop and support application services, APIs, business logic, integrations, and data interactions.

• Contribute to the improvement, modernization, migration, integration, and backend modifications of applications.

• Work with REST APIs, relational databases, and application data.

• Collaborate with Quality Engineering on testing strategies, application validation, debugging, and issue identification.

• Investigate and assist in resolving application issues across frontend, backend, API, integration, and data layers.

• Engage in peer reviews, testing, debugging, and collaborative development practices.

• Contribute to automated build, deployment, and CI/CD processes within cloud-based development environments.

• Implement secure development practices while adhering to federal security, compliance, and accessibility requirements, including Section 508.

• Participate in Agile teams, sprint activities, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Collaborate with developers, Quality Engineers, analysts, and other technical team members.

• Provide support to a federal government client through development, modernization, testing, and ongoing application support.

• Engage in virtual collaboration and occasional customer interactions via Slack, Teams, email, Monday.com, and other collaboration tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Currently reside within the United States.

• Must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years.

• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software development.

• Hands-on experience contributing to both frontend and backend components of web applications.

• Proficient in React, Angular, or another modern JavaScript framework, alongside HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.

• Experience in developing backend applications or services with Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python/Django, or a similar modern framework.

• Skilled in building, consuming, integrating, or troubleshooting REST APIs and working with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Experience in debugging application behavior across frontend, backend, integration, or data layers.

• Familiarity with Git, peer code review, testing, and collaborative software development practices.

• Experience working within an Agile development environment utilizing Scrum, SAFe, or similar methodologies.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across development, Quality Engineering, product, and other technical disciplines.

• Availability for meetings and collaboration between 9 AM–5 PM EST.

• No certifications are necessary.
