Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and internal tools utilized by product development teams.

• Enhance the infrastructure that supports component distribution, asset management, documentation, and release workflows.

• Assist in evolving the engineering monorepo to enhance scalability, maintainability, and developer experience.

• Work collaboratively with frontend engineers and designers to ensure consistent implementation of shared patterns and tools across products.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, testing, and deployment processes using tools such as GitHub Actions.

• Aid in improving the reliability and performance of internal systems, including workflows for observability and monitoring.

• Support engineers across product teams in the adoption and integration of shared tools and services.

• Contribute to documentation and developer tools to enhance discoverability and onboarding processes.

• Engage in ongoing platform enhancements, which include:

• Migration of legacy code and tools.

• Improvements to the documentation platform.

• Enhancements in automation processes.

• Upgrades to sandbox and developer tools.

• Participate in architecture discussions and offer practical, scalable engineering solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with JavaScript or TypeScript in production settings.

• Solid understanding of backend development principles and experience in building APIs or internal services.

• Familiarity with Node.js and contemporary web frameworks like React or Next.js.

• Experience with relational databases and knowledge of fundamental database design concepts.

• Understanding of testing methodologies and software quality principles.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and developer tools.

• Experience using Git and engaging in collaborative engineering practices.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers and engineers.

• A genuine interest in developer experience, platform engineering, or internal tooling.
