This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Design and implement backend services while also engaging in frontend development.
• Take ownership of significant technical decisions and set coding standards.
• Provide mentorship to team members as the team expands.
• Work collaboratively to create a groundbreaking software solution for the healthcare sector.
• Over 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role with a strong emphasis on full stack development.
• Proven experience in developing applications from the ground up, covering architecture design, database schema design, and API development.
• Advanced proficiency in .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) for backend development.
• Familiarity with Azure services (App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Application Insights, etc.).
• Experience in establishing and utilizing automated testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, Jest, React Testing Library).
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Significant experience with React.js for frontend development.
• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure, with a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures.
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Expertise in relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalents) including query optimization and schema design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and contemporary DevOps practices.
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration concepts.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make practical technical trade-offs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, alongside excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work autonomously and advance projects independently.
