Full-stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete development process for core product features across the full stack, emphasizing frontend user experience and performance.

• Work closely with the founder, product designer, and early adopters to rapidly iterate and provide outstanding user experiences.

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable backend systems, including PostgreSQL schemas and Row-Level Security (RLS) through Supabase.

• Develop and oversee edge APIs, backend services, and workers to facilitate real-time, high-performance applications.

• Convert complex product ideas into intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and user-friendly interfaces.

• Make essential architectural and infrastructural decisions that achieve a balance between speed, scalability, and reliability.

• Build and optimize systems to facilitate product growth from initial launch to scaling.

• Integrate and engage with smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure.

• Manage and maintain blockchain indexing systems to enable real-time product functionality.

• Create contemporary authentication and digital asset experiences utilizing technologies such as WebAuthn.

• Collaborate with fintech and infrastructure partners to provide secure and scalable solutions.

• Contribute to product strategy, experimentation, and iteration to assist in achieving product-market fit.

• Establish and maintain robust engineering practices, performance benchmarks, and a security-first approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated exceptional intellectual capacity and curiosity, underpinned by a strong academic background (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year at a senior level with significant ownership.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and React for developing production-grade frontend applications.

• Experience in backend and systems; familiarity with Go or low-level/system design is a valuable asset.

• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL and scalable data architecture.

• Proven history of constructing and delivering complex user-facing products (e.g. social platforms, marketplaces, trading systems).

• Keen interest in finance, blockchain/Web3, consumer applications, user psychology, and AI/LLMs.

• A strong security-first mindset, with a focus on data integrity and system resilience.

• Ability to act swiftly, make pragmatic choices, and excel in uncertain environments.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, founder-level attitude.
