Full Stack Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute data pipelines along with cloud-native applications.

• Design and create scalable REST APIs and web applications that facilitate clinical workflows and internal tools.

• Architect and uphold automated ETL/ELT pipelines for the ingestion, cleaning, and transformation of clinical data.

• Establish data validation and quality assurance measures for clinical workflows and reporting.

• Collaborate effectively with technical leads, product teams, and cross-functional groups.

• Engage in the engineering on-call rotation to guarantee service availability and uptime.

• Implement software development best practices throughout commercial deployment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

• Experience in software application development, including internships or academic projects.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong aptitude for interpreting and executing abstract instructions.

• Eagerness to learn and contribute to product enhancements.

• Proficient knowledge of Python.

• Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals, including joins and data aggregation from relational databases.

• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

• Preferred: Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, and tools like Databricks.

• Preferred: Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
