Full-Stack Application Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, develop, and manage a team of full-stack application developers focused on creating enterprise applications using Palantir Foundry.

• Offer practical architectural guidance, mentorship, solution design evaluations, technical problem-solving, and application development support.

• Set the technical direction, development standards, coding practices, and application architecture.

• Supervise the design, development, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of applications, workflows, dashboards, APIs, data pipelines, and ontology-driven solutions.

• Define UI/UX standards and enhance usability and user adoption in collaboration with business stakeholders.

• Strategize, prioritize, and carry out application development activities in line with business priorities and delivery commitments.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, and IT leadership.

• Propel continuous improvement in development processes, engineering practices, application performance, and operational efficiency.

• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of intricate application, data integration, and platform challenges.

• Ensure that solutions align with enterprise standards for security, governance, usability, performance, and reliability.

• Oversee staffing, performance management, coaching, career development, recruitment, and resource planning.

• Convey technical strategy, project status, delivery risks, and operational performance to leadership and executives.

• Maintain application standards, technical documentation, operational procedures, and development best practices.

• Facilitate digital workflow optimization, operational automation, decision support, and the modernization of business operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of related experience without a degree.

• Proficiency in React-style component patterns or similar front-end frameworks.

• Experience in ontology modeling and object-driven application logic.

• Proficient in Python for backend automation or processing tasks.

• Understanding of enterprise data systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, Costpoint, and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with AI tools like OpenAI, Palantir AIP, Snowflake Cortex, or equivalent technologies.

• Experience in designing workflow automations and operational tools within Foundry.

• Proven track record of leading application development teams in Palantir Foundry.

• Knowledgeable in enterprise application architecture and ontology-driven solution design.

• Background in implementing Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Experience managing multiple concurrent development projects and cross-functional delivery teams.

• Involvement in supporting enterprise digital transformation, data modernization, or analytics platform implementations.
