Frontend Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize a state-of-the-art frontend platform to create scalable experiences while making impactful contributions to the platform itself.

• Design, develop, and refine React-based micro front-ends, ensuring they are accessible, intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly across a variety of devices.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to uphold a cutting-edge GraphQL infrastructure.

• Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to develop and iterate on platform features, ensuring alignment with user requirements and technical feasibility.

• Execute unit tests and integration tests to guarantee code quality and stability.

• Engage in code reviews to uphold high standards of development.

• Oversee build and deployment pipelines using NX and CircleCI to enhance continuous integration, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of frontend updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in software development.

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Profound understanding of (or a keen interest in) GraphQL for data fetching, integrating with backend systems, and optimizing queries for effective communication between frontend and backend.

• Capability to implement accessible, intuitive, and user-friendly designs, collaborating closely with design teams to create responsive and visually appealing interfaces.

• Strong communication skills to work with backend engineers, product managers, and designers, ensuring alignment on platform features and technical specifications.

• Proficiency in implementing unit tests and integration tests (using tools like Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library) to assure code quality, stability, and maintainability.

• Experience in managing build and deployment pipelines.

• Solid experience with Git for version control and collaboration through platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.

• Familiarity with, or a strong interest in, creating scalable frontend architectures and frameworks that can adapt as the platform grows, supporting new features, integrations, and modules.

• AI-Driven Full-Stack Engineering: Utilizes AI development tools throughout the entire lifecycle (from design to testing) to expedite full-stack feature delivery. Crafts and iterates on prompts to ensure AI-generated outputs meet team quality standards, while exhibiting the technical judgment to identify when manual coding is more effective.
