Fresh Foods Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary expert for Fresh Foods, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Meat operations.

• Merge hands-on technical skills with coaching, training, and field execution.

• Operate independently, visiting retail locations and making a noticeable impact on store performance.

• Serve as a trusted subject matter expert, recognized for comprehensive product knowledge and operational excellence.

• Professionally represent the company in-store, ensuring customer teams are prepared to manage complexities.

• Effectively communicate before, during, and after store visits, providing visit summaries to stakeholders.

• Assist with new store openings, remodels, and resets; help set cases to plan-o-grams.

• Train associates on executing plan-o-grams and adhering to production standards.

• Create and present reports and insights, including store visit summaries and category performance analysis.

• Collaborate with merchandisers and leadership, sharing updates and aligning on execution strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in retail Fresh Foods, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Meat operations.

• Demonstrated technical experience supporting daily department operations, merchandising, and production.

• In-depth knowledge of Fresh Foods, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Meat department operations, including production processes and merchandising standards.

• Capability to set up displays, execute plan-o-grams, and engage in resets and remodels independently or as part of a team.

• Comfortable training and mentoring others through hands-on, in-store execution.

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple store visits and priorities.

• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to assigned retail locations.

• Capability to stand, walk, and work on-site in retail environments for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

• Required visual acuity, including color perception, for accurate display and product presentation.

• Willingness to travel regularly as part of the role.
