French as a Second Language (FSL) Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Build a positive relationship and thoroughly understand the needs of learners while keeping them actively engaged.

• Conduct tutoring sessions.

• Complete electronic administrative forms by the required deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• Proficient in both spoken and written French.

• Competent in spoken and written English.

• Strong skills in information and communication technologies (ICT), particularly with Microsoft Outlook and Teams, as all tutoring sessions are held virtually.

• Access to a working computer equipped with webcam/video capabilities.

• Demonstrated professionalism, energy, creativity, and the ability to adapt to various types and levels of learners.

• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is advantageous.

• Familiarity with the exams and levels A, B, and C of the Public Service Commission of Canada is a plus.
