Freight Forwarding, Shipping Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete freight forwarding process across air, sea, and land transportation modes.

• Generate shipments within internal logistics systems and manage daily updates on Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA).

• Monitor the status of shipments daily and proactively address any delays or disruptions during transit.

• Collaborate directly with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.

• Supervise and validate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

• Assess customs documentation to guarantee full accuracy and adherence to trade regulations.

• Communicate with customs brokers and regulatory bodies to comply with local and international trade requirements.

• Maintain precise logging of shipment data, key milestones, and critical operational timelines.

• Provide consistent status updates and operational reports on shipment progress to relevant stakeholders.

• Work in conjunction with internal teams in procurement, supply chain, warehousing, and finance to facilitate efficient logistics operations.

• Build and sustain strong professional relationships with key logistics partners and external stakeholders.

• Manage low-volume inbound and outbound phone inquiries to address immediate shipment and delivery issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end shipments in a freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain context.

• Direct involvement in managing essential shipping documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

• Proven capability to create shipments and actively monitor daily ETD and ETA milestones.

• Robust background collaborating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, carriers, and customs brokers.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, enabling proactive management of shipment delays, capacity limitations, and customs holds.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, complemented by a courteous and professional phone demeanor.

• Exceptional attention to detail and effective time management skills in handling multiple concurrent shipments.
