Freight Broker Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and enhance current relationships with direct shippers.

• Oversee the entire load lifecycle, which includes pricing, booking, tracking, carrier negotiations, dispatch, customer service, and the uploading of digital paperwork.

• Function independently as a cradle-to-grave freight brokerage agent for a designated book of business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess at least one active direct shipper customer ready to transport freight on the first day.

• A minimum of 6 months of verifiable experience as a 1099 Independent Freight Agent, OR 2+ years of combined experience in W-2 freight brokerage sales with transferable accounts and carrier dispatch experience.

• Must be capable of independently pricing, booking, tracking, and concluding loads; no training will be provided.

• Must have a reliable computer, dedicated phone line, and high-speed internet access.

• Must legally reside and operate within the United States.

• 1099 independent contractor status is required.
