Freelancer Instructor – Data Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Instruct and mentor participants in the Data Engineering bootcamp

• Convey professional insights and simplify complex concepts for newcomers

• Utilize leadership, project management, presentation, and communication abilities

• Collaborate with a variety of teams and stakeholders

• Innovate course materials using agile methodologies to enhance student success

• Provide instruction both online and on-site

• Undertake assignments that vary in duration and frequency based on program requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in Europe

• A sincere interest in collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders

• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies

• Proactive approach and a strong inclination to take initiative

• Experience in coaching, mentoring, or teaching is advantageous

• Proficiency in German or English at level C1

• Technical skills in SQL and NoSQL

• Familiarity with Docker

• Knowledge of Airflow

• Experience with DBT

• Proficient in AWS, including Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and S3

• Skills in PySpark

• Knowledge of Kafka

• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Familiarity with Snowflake

• Availability as a freelancer for assignments aligned with course schedules and participant needs
