Freelance Weight & Strength Training Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate live online strength and conditioning sessions for individuals or small groups.

• Exhibit exercises with proper posture, form, and breathing techniques.

• Develop well-rounded workout sessions that emphasize: Resistance training, Body weight training, Mobility & flexibility, and Functional strength.

• Offer modifications tailored to client limitations, injuries, or fitness aspirations.

• Adhere to safety protocols for all movements, aiming to prevent strain or injury.

• Monitor client progress and provide advice on consistency, recovery, and training habits.

• Create session plans, warm-up routines, and cool-down segments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., ACE, ISSA, NASM, ACSM, K11, etc.).

• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not essential).

• A degree or diploma in Physical Education or Sports Science is an advantage.

• Previous experience in instructing strength or resistance training (online or offline).

• In-depth knowledge of strength training techniques and exercise science.

• Capability to clearly demonstrate movements on camera.

• Strong understanding of posture correction and methods for injury prevention.

• Effective communication skills, a motivational teaching style, and a positive demeanor.

• Proficiency in creating effective workout plans tailored to goals: toning, muscle gain, endurance, functional fitness, etc.

• Professionalism, punctuality, and reliability in delivering sessions.

• A high-speed, stable internet connection suitable for live video sessions.

• Quality webcam and microphone/headset.

• A quiet, well-lit environment for demonstrating full-body movements.

• Familiarity with Zoom.

• Ability to utilize timers, on-screen cues, or fitness apps for structured delivery.
