Freelance Virtual Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Workdays: Monday to Friday

• Hours: 8AM to 12PM (Central Time) with the possibility of overtime if we are significantly behind on collections, etc.

• Payment Processing: Receive, verify, and process client payments, including physical checks, ACH payments, wire transfers, and credit card transactions.

• Post Payments: Upload images of ACH deposits and wire transfers into the relevant chats for team visibility.

• Bank Transfers: Move deposits between company bank accounts as instructed and keep accurate records of all transactions.

• QuickBooks Payment Application: Allocate checks, wires, ACH payments, and other deposits to the corresponding client invoices within QuickBooks.

• Declined & Returned Payments: Track and resolve declined credit card payments, returned ACH transactions, bounced checks, and other payment-related issues.

• Client Payment Resolution: Liaise with clients and internal teams to swiftly address declined, disputed, or returned payments.

• Collections: Maintain collection reports and sheets. Reach out to clients regarding outstanding balances and overdue invoices. Follow up via texts, emails, and calls.

• Accounts Receivable Monitoring: Regularly review Accounts Receivable Aging Reports to identify potential issues.

• Financial Tracking: Keep company savings and financial tracking sheets updated.

• Payables Coordination: Refresh Payables Tracking Sheets and project payment statuses upon receipt of client payments.

• Client Service: Deliver friendly and prompt communication while fostering positive relationships with clients throughout the payment process.
