Freelance Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Review, organize, and compile raw footage into refined video content for FyerX’s internal marketing and client brands.

• Produce social media reels, digital advertisements, and corporate videos.

• Shape pacing, sound design, and visual storytelling through music, voice-overs, sound effects, basic motion graphics, and text overlays.

• Execute color correction, audio mixing, and format adaptation for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and others.

• Collaborate with marketing strategists, copywriters, and clients to grasp creative briefs.

• Present rough cuts and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.

• Keep project files organized and manage media assets effectively.

• Ensure version control and maintain visual brand consistency across all projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional video editing experience.

• A strong showreel/portfolio that demonstrates a variety of editing projects.

• A compelling showreel showcasing creative storytelling, pacing, and versatility in both short-form and long-form content.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is highly preferred.

• Strong technical knowledge of video production principles, color grading, audio synchronization, and export settings tailored for social media platforms.

• Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to transform a creative brief from raw footage to final execution that aligns with brand objectives.

• Excellent organizational, time-tracking, and project management skills.

• Proficiency in managing multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with fully remote marketing teams.

• Previous experience with marketing agencies, brands, or production companies is advantageous.
