This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Generate textures for characters, props, and environments.
• Design materials and shaders tailored for Unreal Engine.
• Conduct look development to align with the project's visual aesthetics.
• Optimize assets for real-time rendering efficiency.
• Work in conjunction with modeling and lighting teams.
• Implement revisions based on artistic guidance.
• Deliver well-organized files that are ready for production.
• Proficient texturing abilities using Substance Painter or similar software.
• Demonstrated experience in look development for characters, props, and environments.
• Efficient and organized UV skills to enhance asset quality and speed.
• Solid understanding of materials, shaders, and surfacing processes within Unreal Engine 5.
• Experience in producing high-quality, production-ready textures and materials that adhere to a defined visual style.
• Capability to effectively organize and oversee surfacing assets while ensuring consistency throughout a production.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to collaborate, integrating both creative and technical feedback.
• Bonus Skills: Proficiency in modeling and an understanding of geometry.
• Experience in creating Unreal Engine Blueprints.
• Competence in Maya or Blender.
• Background in stylized animated productions or games.
• Knowledge of UE Blueprinting for character grooming in game engines.
