Freelance Subtitling Linguist – English into Romanian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Accountable for all elements of subtitle file development, based on the assignment, whether it involves Conforming, Translating, or Proofreading/QC’ing subtitle files utilizing Pixelogic's proprietary cloud-based subtitling software.

• Utilize the in-house glossary tool to ensure consistency across products while adhering to client style guide specifications.

• Address rejections and implement corrections in files as needed.

• Stay updated with industry trends and adjust to the evolving needs of clients.

• Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in Romanian and English.

• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in **subtitling** translation and/or proofreading is required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment (on-time delivery and adaptable working hours).

• Capability to adhere to technical/style guidelines for various client content types.
