Freelance Subtitling Linguist, English into Croatian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of subtitle file production, based on assignments, including Conforming, Translating, or Proofreading/QC’ing subtitle files utilizing Pixelogic's proprietary cloud-based subtitling software.

• Utilize the in-house glossary tool to ensure consistency across products and adhere to client style guide requirements.

• Address rejections and implement corrections in files as necessary.

• Stay updated on industry trends and adjust to the changing needs of clients.

• Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in Croatian and English.

• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in subtitling translation and/or proofreading is essential.

• Strong attention to detail and precision.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines with a rigorous schedule (on-time delivery and adaptable working hours).

• Capability to adhere to technical and style guides for various client content types.
