This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Act as a crucial liaison between cancer patients, their healthcare providers, and clinical trial facilities.
• Engage in genuine, unscripted conversations with cancer patients regarding their clinical trial options.
• Articulate the objectives, procedures, and potential risks associated with clinical trials in a manner that is easily understandable for patients.
• Present pertinent studies based on broad criteria such as cancer type, treatment context, and geographical location.
• Promote informed dialogue between patients and their healthcare providers.
• Facilitate initial contact between healthcare providers and research sites when a trial appears appropriate.
• Uphold ethical communication standards and consistently respect patient autonomy.
• Ensure accurate documentation and confidentiality in all patient interactions.
• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) – mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in oncology, clinical trials, or patient education.
• Previous experience in oncology trials or patient recruitment is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes, patient navigation, or healthcare communication is essential.
• Proficiency in German – required.
• Professional proficiency in English – required.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish - preferred.
