Freelance Software Tester, Smart TVs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing on a streaming application for Smart TVs throughout October and November

• Create an account on the Testlio platform and finalize the setup process

• Install application builds on television devices, adhering to the provided guidelines

• Perform functional test cases that include navigation, playback, login/account functionality, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, live events, and overall functional quality

• Document bugs with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, and video recordings

• Offer feedback on any issues encountered during each testing session

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must reside in Italy during the months of October and November

• Should be proficient in navigating a streaming app in Italian; native or bilingual Italian speakers are preferred

• 30 minutes required for setting up the Testlio account

• Availability for approximately 2 to 4 hours of testing per session; some sessions may extend up to 12 hours

• A Smart TV operating on Titan OS is necessary

• Compatible TV brands include Philips, Vestel, or JVC

• Experience in software testing is advantageous but not mandatory

• An account on the Testlio platform must be created

• Must utilize the Testlio website for defect tracking
