Freelance Software Tester, Smart TVs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Establish a Testlio platform account to receive testing assignments

• Utilize the Testlio website for tracking defects

• Complete necessary preparatory materials and testing courses

• Install application builds on Smart TV devices according to provided guidelines

• Carry out functional test cases that encompass navigation, playback, login/account behavior, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, live events, and overall functional quality

• Document bugs with detailed reproduction steps along with screenshots or recordings

• Offer feedback on issues encountered during each testing session

• Engage in short-term freelance testing sessions for a streaming application throughout October and November

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Required to be physically present in Germany during October and November

• Should be comfortable navigating a streaming application in German

• Native or bilingual proficiency in German is preferred

• Availability for a 30-minute setup of the Testlio account

• Capacity to commit approximately 2–4 hours of testing per session; some sessions may extend up to 12 hours

• A Smart TV operating on Titan OS, such as Philips TV, Vestel TV, or JVC TV is necessary

• Previous experience in software testing is advantageous but not mandatory
