Freelance Software Tester, Smart TVs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Engage in testing the rollout of a new streaming platform launching in Austria.

• Establish a Testlio platform account to access assigned testing tasks.

• Utilize Testlio's website for tracking defects.

• Review the provided materials for testing preparation.

• Follow instructions to install app builds on TV devices.

• Implement test cases that assess playback, navigation, and core functionalities.

• Document bugs with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, and recordings.

• Offer feedback on any issues discovered during each testing session.

• Take part in prelaunch testing, the launch testing on September 30, and regular weekly testing runs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must reside in Austria throughout September.

• Comfortable using a streaming app in German.

• 30 minutes needed for setting up a Testlio account.

• Availability for testing ranging from approximately 2 to 10 hours based on the test run.

• Access to a Samsung Tizen TV, LG TV, Hisense TV, Apple TV, or Xbox.

• Access to a laptop, PC, or MacBook to complete testing tasks.

• Experience in software testing is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Must be willing to create a Testlio platform account.

• Knowledge of functional testing or willingness to take Testlio's preparatory course.
