Freelance Software Tester, Smart TVs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Set up an account on the Testlio platform to receive testing assignments.

• Utilize Testlio’s website for tracking defects.

• Follow provided instructions to install app builds on Smart TVs.

• Perform functional test cases that include navigation, playback, login/account functionality, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, live events, and overall functional quality.

• Document bugs with clear reproduction steps along with screenshots or recordings.

• Offer feedback on any issues encountered during each testing session.

• Fulfill short-term freelance testing assignments for a streaming application throughout October and November.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must be physically present in Austria throughout October and November.

• Should be comfortable navigating a streaming application in German; native or bilingual German speakers are preferred.

• Must be available for 30 minutes to set up a Testlio account.

• Should expect to commit approximately 2 to 4 hours of testing per test session, with some sessions lasting up to 12 hours.

• Must have a Smart TV operating on Titan OS, specifically Philips TV, Vestel TV, or JVC TV.

• Experience in software testing is advantageous, though not mandatory.
