Freelance Research Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Interpret and adhere to trial protocols, Case Report Forms, off-site manuals, supporting documents, procedures, timelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Communicate effectively with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.

• Ensure accurate trial documentation and electronic data transfers while safeguarding subject confidentiality and adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and data protection regulations.

• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and other multidisciplinary, project management, and client-facing meetings as necessary.

• Coordinate and execute on-site and off-site subject trial visits, ensuring compliance with protocols and SOPs regarding procedures, assessments, and data collection.

• Administer trial medications and oversee their secure storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, package, and send samples while coordinating with courier services and related organizations.

• Identify potentially eligible patients and assist in their recruitment for clinical trials.

• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and suspected unexpected serious adverse reactions, including necessary follow-up actions.

• Notify Illingworth and its affiliated companies of any suspected misconduct or fraud.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Experience in research and clinical trials with GCP certification.

• Familiarity with research design and methodology is desirable.

• Preferable experience and knowledge in clinical nursing skills, including Venepuncture and ECG.

• Capable of working independently with initiative in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Proficient in computer software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum requirement.

• Must be able to work in Lille, France.

• Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education will also be taken into account.
