Freelance Medical Post-Editor, Catalan – English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Translate, edit, and review documentation related to clinical trials.

• Ensure that documents comply with the medical and ethical standards of the target language.

• Improve the readability, precision, and coherence of scientific and medical texts while preserving their original meaning.

• Collaborate with translation teams and offer constructive feedback.

• Propose necessary corrections.

• Stay informed on medical terminology and recent advancements.

• Ensure that documents adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in clinical translation or post-editing.

• Native or near-native proficiency in English.

• Fluency in Catalan as the source language.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of clinical terminology and concepts.

• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.

• Certification in medical post-editing, translation, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with memoQ is a plus.
