Freelance Illustrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop a diverse array of illustrations, which include: Storyboards that outline sequences, pacing, and visual flow; character illustrations that demonstrate clear expressions, poses, and consistency; as well as supporting visual elements such as props, environments, and key frames as required.

• Convert briefs, scripts, or references into effective visual narratives.

• Ensure visual consistency across all assets by adhering to creative guidelines, style references, and client specifications.

• Perform self-quality assessments to guarantee clarity, consistency, and a professional-level output.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong illustration capabilities with an emphasis on storyboarding and character design.

• Exceptional design skills along with a solid understanding of contemporary style conventions and techniques.

• Comprehensive knowledge of visual storytelling, sequencing, composition, perspective, framing, as well as character anatomy, expression, and movement.

• Proficiency in digital illustration software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or similar).

• Capability to work from written briefs, references, or conceptual ideas.

• High level of attention to detail and consistency in work.

• Ability to balance creativity with structured requirements.

• Experience collaborating with animation or motion design teams.

• Familiarity with animation workflows and handoff protocols.

• Background in animation studios, motion branding, or digital storytelling.

• Experience contributing to AI training datasets or engaging in structured creative tasks.
