Freelance Health Care Professional – Mitochondrial Disease Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assembling a network of English-speaking healthcare professionals for an upcoming research study focused on primary mitochondrial disease and progressive neurological or muscular disorders.

• Filling out a brief screening questionnaire to determine eligibility if the criteria are satisfied.

⛳️ Requirements

• Actively managing patients with primary mitochondrial disease (priority) or progressive neurological or muscular disorders in adults (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, chronic fatigue syndrome, stroke, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, or other rare diseases).

• Utilizing the 30-second Sit to Stand test (STS) in clinical practice and/or research for patient assessment.

• Having conducted the 30-second STS a minimum of 20 times.

• Proficient in English.
