Freelance Health Care Professional – Mitochondrial Disease Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assembling a group of English-speaking healthcare professionals for potential involvement in an upcoming research study focused on primary mitochondrial disease and progressive neurological or muscular disorders.

• Completing a brief screening questionnaire to determine eligibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently treating patients with: Primary mitochondrial disease (given priority), or Progressive neurological or muscular conditions in adults (such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, chronic fatigue syndrome, stroke, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, or other rare diseases).

• Utilizing the 30-second Sit to Stand test (STS) in clinical practice and/or research to evaluate patients.

• Having conducted the 30-second STS a minimum of 20 times.

• Proficient in English.
