Freelance Game LQA Tester, English to Simplified Chinese

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Identify, document, isolate, and resolve localization and linguistic issues.

• Validate fixes implemented.

• Execute and complete Test Cases and Checklists for focused testing.

• Craft bug descriptions adhering to established standards.

• Utilize knowledge of user preferences in the Target Market.

• Actively seek out gaps in test coverage.

• Collaborate with partner teams effectively.

• Provide constructive feedback regarding gameplay, enjoyment, and game balance.

• Fulfill any additional tasks deemed relevant to the position.

⛳️ Requirements

• Avid gamer with a strong passion for the video game industry.

• Native proficiency in Simplified Chinese (the testing language), with exceptional spelling and grammar skills.

• Proficient in both English and Simplified Chinese.

• Previous experience in gaming Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA).

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Strong attention to detail and a robust work ethic.

• Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

• Basic familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.

• Understanding of digital technologies, including mobile devices, tablets, and browser tools.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.

• Motivated, with a positive attitude and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
