• Native-level fluency in JAPANESE.

• Strong proficiency in ENGLISH and SIMPLIFIED CHINESE.

• A profound enthusiasm for gaming along with a solid understanding of gaming terminology.

• At least 2 years of experience in gaming localization (from SIMPLIFIED CHINESE to JAPANESE).

• Specialization in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy genres.

• Proficient in CAT tools, preferably memoQ.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional skills in grammar, spelling, and terminology.

• Capable of meeting deadlines while thriving in a dynamic and creative atmosphere.

• A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent substantial translation training).

• 2+ years of translation experience coupled with a college degree.

• 5+ years of translation experience (degree not required).

• A translation certification from a recognized government authority.
