Freelance Cybersecurity Content Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create in-depth articles on a wide range of subjects, including Zero Trust architecture, threat intelligence, cloud security (CSPM/CWPP), and incident response.

• Exhibit the ability to modify tone and technical depth to communicate effectively with a varied audience, from C-suite executives (CISOs) to hands-on SOC analysts.

• Possess a solid understanding of crafting compelling, high-CTR titles that resonate with the cybersecurity community and draw the attention of high-authority press outlets.

• Effectively incorporate feedback from editors and clients to guarantee 100% technical accuracy.

• Produce content that not only clarifies "what" a threat is but also offers actionable strategies to enhance a client's security posture.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as a content writer, particularly in the field of cybersecurity or high-level InfoSec, preferably published on recognized news sites, industry blogs, or major vendor platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of specialized topics, including IAM, EDR/XDR, Network Security, Ransomware trends, and Compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).

• Proven experience in web writing, with an emphasis on long-form guides, "how-to" mitigation articles, security tool comparison posts, trend reports, and thought leadership content on the evolving threat landscape.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate productive working relationships in a fully remote setting.

• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining effectiveness.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work autonomously.

• A strong emphasis on technical accuracy, fact-checking, and producing quality content that fosters brand trust.
