Freelance Creative Translator, Transcreator – Vietnamese into English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide top-notch transcreation, translation, and cultural adaptation for marketing, entertainment, and multimedia creative content from Vietnamese to English.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and linguistic experts to ensure superior quality output across various platforms.

• Perform in-depth cultural and market research to prevent literal translation errors and accurately reflect brand tone, humor, and subtleties.

• Review, proofread, and offer constructive feedback on Vietnamese-to-English marketing content to enhance campaign effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Marketing, Linguistics, Communications, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

• At least 3+ years of professional experience specifically in marketing translation and creative transcreation.

• Native-level fluency in English (US) with a strong comprehension of Vietnamese at a professional level.

• Proven ability to adapt tone, style, and voice in accordance with diverse brand guidelines and multimedia formats.

• Strong creativity and attention to detail, capable of producing engaging and persuasive content.

• Familiarity with contemporary CAT tools and localization processes, complemented by excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
