Freelance Content & Community Manager – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee social content calendars, ensuring timely posting of approved content.

• Interact with communities through comments while maintaining the established tone and personality of each brand.

• Recognize opportunities for brands to engage in trends, events, and conversations.

• Contribute to reporting and performance insights by utilizing automated and native platform tools.

• Oversee comment copy across various social platforms, adjusting the tone of voice to connect with specific target audiences and uphold brand integrity.

• Categorize and articulate the distinctions between positive, negative, and neutral sentiment to provide the internal team with a clear understanding of community sentiment.

• Spot high-quality User Generated Content and reactive content opportunities, sharing them with the creative team to enhance timely brand relevance.

• Leverage AI chat interfaces to create high-volume, on-brand response drafts, significantly boosting engagement capacity without compromising quality.

• Independently manage daily workloads and deadlines to ensure that all engagement tasks are prioritized according to client needs and peak traffic periods.

• Utilize AI-driven sentiment analysis to summarize comment themes across multiple platforms and enhance response workflows.

• Proficiency in Sprinklr for scheduling, publishing, and copywriting is essential.

• Ability to adapt between various brand personas and complex tone of voice guidelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year experience in managing social communities for professional brands or agencies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

• Thorough understanding of the technical and cultural variances between TikTok, X, Instagram, and emerging social platforms.

• Experience with industry-standard tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Brandwatch.

• A passionate social media user with a deep knowledge of key platforms.

• Outstanding written communication skills, accompanied by a portfolio or samples of social copy.

• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

• A solutions-oriented mindset for tackling problems under tight deadlines.
