This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the design and management of sponsor-funded quantitative research projects from inception to completion.
• Develop survey instruments, facilitate executive panel recruitment, clean and analyze data, and transform findings into insights for sponsors.
• Collaborate with the sales team on pre-sale brainstorming and pitch research-driven proposals.
• Write and/or supervise freelance talent in creating sponsored short articles, long-form reports, insight decks, presentations, and video scripts.
• Utilize Claude and ChatGPT for initial ideation, outlining, interview preparation, and desk research while ensuring adherence to editorial standards, originality, and thorough fact-checking.
• Manage relationships with sponsors, review deliverables, integrate feedback, keep timelines in check, and enhance content visibility across various platforms.
• Research, script, and present sponsored Skift Summit/Forum talks, custom panels, and webinars.
• Work alongside the internal studio team to enhance the product suite and research-driven formats.
• Deliver comprehensive research studies and engaging data-supported editorial content.
• Produce timely multi-format sponsored programs and support strong renewal rates.
• Participate in pre-sale collaboration and the development of high-value proposals.
• Strong experience in a high-output marketing, agency, or editorial environment; B2B digital publishing is preferred.
• Previous exposure to content marketing within the realm of enterprise software and digital advertising.
• Practical experience in conducting survey studies using SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, or comparable tools.
• Fundamental knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Capacity to transform raw data into clear, narrative-driven insights suitable for executive audiences.
• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools for preliminary drafting and research.
• Familiarity with WordPress, HubSpot, and Google Drive.
• Proven experience in managing client relationships and addressing feedback.
• Background in creating sales materials and proposals.
• Ability to confidently present in front of live audiences while maintaining journalistic integrity.
• Authentic interest in online travel, technology, customer experience, digital transformation, and media trends.
• Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated ability to ideate, write, edit, and proofread multi-format copy in a polished, professional, and error-free manner.
• Willingness to work during USA East Coast hours.
• Must be located anywhere in the UK.
