Freelance Brand Motion Designer – Performance Marketing, Social

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist in advancing Canva’s growth marketing initiatives in the Philippines by creating and refining ad creatives for performance marketing trials and user-generated content sprints.

• Collaborate with marketers and channel leaders on creative brainstorming, best practices for channels and markets, and scaling creative tests across various channels and formats.

• Develop monthly creative sprint ad materials in both static and motion/video formats (1:1, 9:16, 16:9).

• Execute monthly user-generated content/lo-fi style video sprints and experiments (e.g., hook and call-to-action testing, editing).

• Create GIFs/banners and app marketing materials for ongoing creative refreshes and local seasonal promotions.

• Design email, in-app, and app storefront campaign banners to support local initiatives and experiments.

• Craft and modify static, video, and motion advertisements for platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google, and Display.

• Edit and refine user-generated content videos for advertising sprints.

• Work with marketers to transform strategies and insights into impactful creatives.

• Contribute to the brainstorming process for growth marketing campaigns and lifecycle materials.

• Ensure all deliverables are optimized for specific channel specifications, align with brand guidelines, and are tailored for the Philippine market.

• Share insights and creative learnings to enhance future testing and production efforts.

• A strong design portfolio that highlights digital advertisements, motion graphics, or edits of user-generated videos.

• Proficiency in various design tools.

• Experience in creating content for Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, or other performance-driven channels.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, test-and-learn environment.

• Excellent attention to detail with the capability to adapt creative concepts across diverse formats and sizes.

• A cooperative team player who can collaborate effectively with marketers and fellow creatives.

• Understanding of local Filipino cultural trends and the skill to incorporate them into design.
