Freelance ASL Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist with a variety of upcoming interpretation tasks

• Facilitate effective communication during onsite and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) services

• Collaborate with a diverse range of clients to promote inclusive communication

⛳️ Requirements

• Language: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

• Services: Onsite and VRI (Video Remote Interpreting)

• Certifications: RID, BEI, or other relevant qualifications are advantageous

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in professional interpreting is preferred

• Specialties: Familiarity with medical, educational, legal, social services, or other community-focused environments

• Platforms: Experience with Boostlingo and XTRF is a plus
