Freelance AI Trainer – Language Alignment & Resource Partner, Icelandic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work independently to deliver linguistic quality assurance and create alignment resources.

• Evaluate, annotate, and test AI-generated outputs for grammatical precision, natural flow, and adherence to cultural context.

• Serve as the main quality assurance checkpoint during production, identifying and rectifying subtle cultural inaccuracies or awkward expressions in Icelandic.

• Assess quality trends related to tasks and create educational materials and feedback documentation.

• Offer native-level language assessment during project expansion and provide specialized linguistic advice throughout the production process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven work or educational background in linguistics, education, or related fields that demand a keen eye for linguistic detail.

• Previous, concrete experience in human data evaluation or annotation.

• Confirmed proficiency in Icelandic at the C1 or C2 level.

• The capability to effectively translate raw feedback and quality patterns into organized, actionable educational resources.

• A careful and detail-oriented approach to language, with the ability to pinpoint and amend even the most subtle unnatural phrasing in their native language.
