Freelance Accountant, Bilanzbuchhalter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with the German Commercial Code (HGB).

• Ensure continuous financial accounting, which includes account reconciliations.

• Establish and evaluate provisions and accruals.

• Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to commercial law requirements and maintain accurate documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training in commerce or an equivalent qualification.

• Additional qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or relevant professional experience.

• Strong understanding of financial accounting in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code).

• Experience in both general ledger and subledger accounting.
