Fraud Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Oversee marketplace activities to identify suspicious behaviors and prevent fraudulent transactions.

• Examine data to uncover fraud patterns, emerging threats, and new attack methods.

• Partner with product, data, and engineering teams to design and enhance systems for fraud detection and prevention.

• Create and sustain dashboards, reports, and alerts for continuous fraud monitoring.

• Assist in developing policies and procedures to bolster fraud prevention and enhance customer trust.

• Investigate escalated cases and propose actions based on risk evaluations.

• Proven experience in fraud analysis, risk management, or trust & safety within a marketplace, fintech, or e-commerce setting.

• Strong analytical capabilities with a knack for working with data, identifying patterns, and deriving actionable insights.

• Knowledge of fraud monitoring tools, anomaly detection, or rule-based systems.

• A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and comfort in a rapidly scaling environment.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
