Fraud Prevention Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of fraud prevention and detection strategies through the analysis of transactional and operational data.

• Identify risk patterns, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

• Support the strategy team in decision-making with analytical insights.

• Ensure the protection of the company's assets.

• Develop a deep understanding of Bold's business model, including its products, services, operational processes, and customers.

• Identify specific fraud risks associated with Bold's operations.

• Conduct descriptive and exploratory data analyses.

• Monitor alerts generated by fraud prevention tools and propose actions.

• Design and optimize rules, models, and strategies for fraud detection.

• Create, calculate, and monitor performance metrics related to fraud prevention and detection.

• Suggest improvements in analysis processes through the automation of repetitive tasks.

• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure the effectiveness of prevention strategies.

• Build dashboards that visualize analysis results and key metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Statistics, Administration, Engineering, or related fields in technology or finance.

• At least one year of experience in data analysis, processing, and visualization, preferably within fraud teams.

• Demonstrated knowledge of SQL.

• Intermediate and proven knowledge of visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Quicksight, Looker).

• Knowledge of data analysis tools (Python).

• Understanding of fraud detection.

• Preferred: Experience in monitoring and evaluating risk engines provided by third parties and fraud-related indicators.

• Preferred: Knowledge of automation through artificial intelligence for analytical tasks.
