Fraud Operations Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee real-time transactions and customer activities identified for potential fraud and abuse.

• Conduct investigations into transactions by applying internal policies and review methodologies.

• Examine account behaviors utilizing internal systems and analytical tools.

• Research fraud patterns and user behavior to aid in the development of machine learning models, rules, and detection systems.

• Work collaboratively with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineers to enhance fraud prevention mechanisms, processes, and tools.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of fraud prevention strategies and technologies.

• Achieve or surpass SLAs for the prompt resolution of queued cases.

• Manage escalations from both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven experience in data analysis and the confidence to make significant decisions in a dynamic and occasionally uncertain environment.

• Strong attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Solid business acumen and communication skills.

• Capability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision following training.

• Required experience with Claude or similar large language model tools.

• Comfortable utilizing AI to boost productivity, research, and communication efforts.

• Availability to work full-time from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm local time.
