Fraud Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Take complete responsibility for detecting and preventing fraud for one of Eneba’s products.

• Analyze extensive datasets utilizing SQL to uncover fraud patterns, anomalies, and new attack vectors.

• Design, create, and optimize dynamic fraud risk rules that evolve with the business.

• Manage and continually enhance False Positive Rates, ensuring a balance between fraud prevention, conversion, and customer satisfaction.

• Oversee 3DS decision-making and optimization across various countries, determining the timing and method for triggering additional authentication.

• Evaluate conversion, rejection, and verification drop-off rates, and suggest data-driven enhancements.

• Develop and sustain fraud detection logic, alerts, and workflows utilized by Fraud Specialists.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Payments, Data, and Engineering teams to enhance fraud and verification systems.

• Monitor and report on fraud trends, providing clear insights and recommendations.

• Accept responsibility for decisions made, learn from outcomes, and iterate rapidly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in fraud analysis, payment risk, or risk management, with a clear track record of ownership over results.

• Proficient SQL skills and practical experience handling large datasets (SQL expertise is required).

• Experience in crafting and maintaining dynamic fraud risk rules.

• Strong communication abilities, capable of conveying complex topics in straightforward terms tailored to diverse stakeholder groups.

• In-depth, practical knowledge of 3DS and the variations in authentication strategies across different countries and regions.

• Comprehensive understanding of fraud patterns, user behavior, and payment-related risks and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).

• Confidence in making data-informed decisions and taking ownership of their consequences.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Full professional proficiency in English.
