Fractional Portfolio Manager – Advisor Network

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Arootah collaborates with a selective network of senior operators to assist clients within the alternative investment sector, which includes hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices. Advisors are engaged on a project basis when client requirements align with their expertise.

• Becoming a member of the network does not ensure placement; it grants access to opportunities as they become available.

• Exclusive engagements focused solely on the alternative industry with hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices.

• Project-driven work that accommodates existing commitments.

• Arootah manages client origination and engagement, allowing advisors to concentrate on delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Possession of a CFA designation is required. An MBA or an advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Quantitative Analysis is advantageous.

• CFP or any relevant industry certifications are considered a plus.

• At least 10+ years of specific portfolio management experience demonstrating consistent long-term investment performance that meets established objectives.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as an analyst and/or significant industry experience is preferred, particularly with a strong understanding of trading.

• Familiarity with a diverse range of investment styles across both public and private markets, as well as the principles of asset allocation and portfolio construction.

• Comprehensive knowledge of investment and portfolio management theories, accounting and financial principles, as well as associated investment strategies and instruments.

• Strong understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management practices.

• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and various software applications (such as Morningstar Direct, Microsoft Office, FactSet, Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, etc.).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with outstanding analytical abilities. Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated. Collaborative and diplomatic, capable of partnering cross-functionally with various internal stakeholders.

• Experience in or comfort with roles that involve a degree of ambiguity, requiring creative analysis and action.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and achieve results.

• Capacity to quickly establish rapport and collaborate within a team environment.
