Fractional Director of Operations – Advisory Network

• Arootah collaborates with a carefully selected network of senior operators to assist clients within the alternative investment sector, encompassing hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices.

• Advisors are engaged on a project basis when client requirements align with their expertise.

• Becoming a member of the network does not ensure placement; it grants access to opportunities as they become available.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline with a strong academic performance.

• An MBA, M.S. in Operations, or an advanced degree is advantageous.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience as a Director of Operations at an Alternatives Asset Firm or Family Office.

• Comprehensive knowledge of various asset classes, security types, financial instruments, investment strategies, and capital markets, including an in-depth understanding of capital markets and the trading, settlement, and investment processes of products.

• In-depth familiarity with the investment management industry and associated technologies, including fund accounting software, market data tools, performance and attribution applications, and settlement/reconciliation systems.

• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, teamwork, and time management abilities, effectively managing multiple deadlines for oneself and others.

• Strong attention to detail and the capability to take initiative.

• A committed team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively at all levels of the firm.
