Fractional COO, Chief Operating Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Transform the CEO’s strategic vision into actionable and prioritized plans.

• Organize the structure of the organization: processes, management rhythms, governance, and roles & responsibilities.

• Execute and oversee key performance indicators (both operational and financial).

• Enhance communication between the CEO and teams by eliminating bottlenecks.

• Critically assess strategic decisions and ensure sustainable growth.

• Assist in the recruitment and skill enhancement of essential teams.

• Direct structuring initiatives (scaling, reorganization, expansion, professionalization).

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 15+ years of experience in operations leadership, general management, strategic consulting, or entrepreneurship.

• Extensive experience in startups, scale-ups, high-growth SMEs, or entrepreneurial settings.

• Strong expertise in organizational structuring, performance management, and prioritization.

• Robust skills in management, finance, and organizational design.

• Capability to engage with demanding CEOs and challenge them with professionalism.

• High level of autonomy, a strong sense of accountability, and professional maturity.

• Comfort with a part-time/fractional structure and working with multiple clients.

• Experience as a founder or co-founder, or previous COO experience, is highly advantageous.
