This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Supervise accounting follow-up, cash oversight, supplier disbursements, customer receivables, and direct debit procedures.
• Collaborate with external accountants to ensure that financial operations are dependable, traceable, and scalable.
• Oversee the billing process, track payments, manage overdue invoices, and conduct credit risk assessments.
• Assist in determining the integration of an external billing solution or enhancements to internal systems.
• Develop analytical revenue tracking by client, activity, contract type, and entity.
• Generate a monthly global Profit & Loss statement and aid in consolidating 3 to 4 group companies.
• Manage intercompany transactions, internal agreements, and associated documentation.
• Facilitate tax optimization and ensure alignment between legal, financial, and operational frameworks.
• Centralize customer, supplier, and internal contracts while monitoring key dates, obligations, and billing terms.
• Address HR and administrative responsibilities, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal documentation.
• Enhance existing workflows and automate repetitive HR and administrative tasks when applicable.
• Optimize Augmented Energy’s semi-automated finance and operations framework.
• Demonstrated experience in finance, accounting, auditing, controlling, transaction services, CFO office, startup operations, or a comparable role.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, cash management, billing, receivables, and financial reporting.
• Capability to review and challenge accounting work without needing to execute every accounting entry personally.
• Solid grasp of credit risk, customer payment risk, and collection processes.
• Strong analytical abilities and the skill to create meaningful P&L and revenue tracking.
• Experience with multiple legal entities or intercompany transactions.
• Proficiency in structuring contracts, administrative tracking, and internal processes.
• A proactive approach: you are ready to undertake tasks before delegating or automating them.
• A keen interest in automation, tools, workflows, and operational efficiency.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is highly advantageous.
